Screen Prepress & Stencil Making

In-house stencil shop, clean registration

Process overview

Prepress is where the image gets onto the screen: artwork is color-separated and output to film, mesh is stretched on the frame, coated with emulsion, exposed, developed and retouched — one screen per color. A precise stencil is the foundation of clean edges and tight registration. We make screens in-house, never outsourced, so sampling and re-makes stay on our own schedule. Screens can be stored for you and reused on repeat orders at no extra plate fee.
